the discordian rhythm of hymns and revelations

we never really disagree,
just say the same things differently.
two perspectives in contradiction:
coexistance in repetition.

distance comes and distance goes
now and forever both supposed.
today we forget but tomorrow we remember
pictures of dreams returned to surrender.

awake, asleep-- it's all the same:
you and I but different names.
what he saw today, she will see tomorrow.
it is sure to make her happy but it filled him with immense sorrow.

what, neglect notwithstanding, is expected to come of this division?
in theory, that's the answer--or is that merely superstition?
